The mission of our program is to
provide individual designed activities as well as socialization for
persons with memory loss and to offer respite,
information and peace of mind to the caregivers by assuring them
that their loved one is safe and well cared for.
Our program is not affiliated with any
State or Federal enterprise, but we do base our program on the
Oregon State sanctioned "Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer's Care".
This means our trained volunteers learn about a person's history,
their likes, dislikes and their special needs. Then, together they
can spend quality time enjoying life!
